Training for Women
A Smarter Approach
For decades, women have been pushed toward endless cardio and away from strength training. Modern research has proven strength training to be transformative for women’s health. It can also be more fun and fulfilling.
Would you like to understand how a cycle affects your fitness training? You will learn when to push harder, supported by your hormones, and when it makes sense to focus on technique. I’ve read and studied to help women to prepare their bodies for menopause, specifically training for additional muscle and bone density, and limiting the effects of reduced estrogen.
Resistance training, both with body and free weights, encourages hormonal balance, boosts metabolism, increases bone density, and improves sleep quality. We’ll focus on building your lean and strong physique. You won’t get big, you’ll just feel more like you.
