Hi, I’m Nik!
I teach because I’ve been lucky enough to observe the profound change in an individual when they learn to enjoy movement. Many have been convinced of the necessity of fancy equipment, expensive memberships, supplements, or genetic abilities to become strong themselves. I want to prove that all you need is your body, and the knowledge of how to use it.
Sports have energized me over my entire life. As a child growing up in the US I played the traditional trio of baseball, basketball, and American football. When I was introduced to weight training after university I was instantly hooked. More recently I discovered CrossFit which taught awareness of my body movement. I eventually became a certified CrossFit instructor (L2). I sincerely enjoy learning about the incredible capabilities of the human body, and the combination of bodyweight movement and high-intensity training has given me confidence to teach others.
Once I gained awareness of the movement of my body without needing visual confirmation from mirrors, I found that there isn’t a limit to where one can train. Physical training remains a critical part of my life, creating stamina, endurance, and resilience I can use to hike, climb, dive, swim, row, run, play racket sports and attempt complex calisthenics movements.
My mission is simple: show you that your body is the most versatile tool you’ll ever own. I want you to feel more capable and enabled than ever—whether you’re traveling, at home, or enduring life’s challenges. Fitness should make your life better, and it can be fun.
